Just like the other two engine offerings in the 9 Family of tractors, the X15 features exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and an exhaust aftertreatment combination of a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to meet the near-zero NOx and particulate matter (PM) emissions standards. This allows John Deere to provide common technologies to producers throughout different horsepower and engine displacement offerings ensuring a consistent experience for producers.
The X15 has followed the same building block approach to meet emissions requirements as similar John Deere engines.
